The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Building Division staff will issue permits and inspect properties, as quickly as possible - if you provide complete and accurate information.

• Review all of the information we provide you.
• We assign building inspectors to your file long before you have to register your plan.
• Take advantage of our certified model program.
• Permit administrators provide general information or direct you to a building inspector for technical information.

Building owners, designers and contractors must carefully review ALL the information we provide. The Building Division will work with you, as the applicant, to process your application as quickly as possible.

NOTE: You must get a building permit before you start any construction. You must get an occupancy permit before anyone occupies your building. The City will prosecute builders for illegally constructing, or allowing someone to occupy, a building without a permit.
