Map to the Bradford and District Memorial Community Centre
The Community Centre was proudly built ‘debt-free’ due to the $100,000 in cash donations from local residents during 1953-1956. It was built to represent the ethnicity of Bradford and to provide for a place for cultures of various races to mingle and get to know and understand one another.
The Centre has a Banquet Hall which has a 338 person capacity with a large kitchen and bar area on the upper level and a small multi-purpose room with a 20 person capacity on the lower level. There is plenty of parking and the Centre is Wheel Chair Accessible. Year-round use is available. The Centre is adjacent to Centennial Park which has a Skateboard Park, Soccer Pitches, Tennis Courts, Ball Diamonds (with lights) and Picnic Shelter. The Centre also has an Arena with an ice surface during the winter months and a ball hockey surface during the summer months. The Arena Floor has a 1,194 person capacity which can easily accommodate large events such as reunions, shows, fundraisers, etc.
