Dog Owner's Liability Act
In the event of a dog bite incident, a victim may choose to take action under the Dog Owner's Liability Act to:
(1) have the dog destroyed;
(2) obtain a court order detailing requirements for effective control of the dog and/or;
(3) reimburse the victim of the dog attack for their expenses.
