Royal Canadian Air Force - Instructor
RCAF Reserve Technical Training School
424 Squadron/3050 Technical Training Unit Junior NCO/Disciplinarian including periods of full-time engagement with the RCAF. (Honourable Discharge)

1962 - 1982
Royal Canadian Mounted Police
General Duties, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Instructor, RCMP Academy, Regina, Sask. Training and Development Branch HQ Ottawa, ON, Training Research,Course Coordination Special Contracts,"Depot" Division, Regina, Saskatchewan and Non Contract Duties in Southern Ontario. (Retired Sgt.)

Awarded the Long Service Medal.

1982-2002
Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology - Coordinator/Professor of the Law and Security Administration and Police Foundation Programs. Duties included overall operations of the Programs, ensuring continuity and consistency in delivery of the curriculum, providing direct linkages with Law Enforcement and Government Agencies, liaising with other Colleges and Universities, and providing instruction as well. (Retired)

1985/1997
Councillor for the Town of Bradford, (6 yrs) and the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (6 yrs). Experience included Chairman of Administration and Personnel, Protective Services,
Planning, Building, Library Board,Parks and Recreation,and Vice-Chairman of the Police Services Board.

2000/Present
Deputy/Mayor for the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury - Experience includes Chairman of the Committee of Council, Personnel and Adminstration, Ad Hoc Committee for Persons with Disabilities, Alternative Water Source, Santa Claus Parade, Drainage Commission, Member of the Simcoe County Council - Midhurst, On.  Currently I am a member of the Human Services Committee for Simcoe County, and sit as Chairman of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Board and a member of the Board of Directors, Southlake Regional Health Centre.

Other experiences include twenty-five years experience in various Minor Hockey Associations, including coaching and executive member of the Associations to include President of Clouchester Minor Hockey Assoc., President of the Bradford and District Minor Hockey Association, and Vice-President of York-Simcoe Hockey League; have been a member of various service clubs including, Kinsmen, Lions, and am presently a member Royal Canadian Legion, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veteran's Association. Past memberships included Associated Member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, Canadian Society for Industrial Security, Past Warden of Simcoe County 2005, and Simcoe County Chiefs of Police and Police Governing Authorities .
